Mary Haugh Rubick is a skilled paralegal with expertise in entity formation and corporate governance, securities compliance, equity incentive structures and plan administration, and deal facilitation and due diligence support. 

Before transitioning into the legal field, she worked extensively as a copywriter and editor, partnering with entrepreneurs and early-stage companies to craft clear, compelling online content and marketing collateral. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the challenges startups face, allowing her to bring a strategic perspective to her legal work.
 

Mary began her legal career as a law clerk in 2020 and has since developed a strong foundation in legal document drafting and transaction coordination. She holds master’s degrees in English and Writing from Portland State University, along with a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Women’s Studies.
In 2021, she earned her Paralegal Certificate from California State University,

East Bay, further honing her skills in corporate transactions and regulatory requirements. At DVC, she assists client companies in managing corporate governance, equity incentive plan setup and administration, facilitating fundraising efforts, and ensuring efficient legal workflows under the direction of the firm’s attorneys.
